Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills | Diet Pills
Since the release of the Hoodia diet pills, there have been numerous questions raised about the effectiveness of the Hoodia Gordonii Diet. Needless to say, it has become a subject of controversy.
Clinical studies performed by scientists at the South African Center for Scientific and Industrial Research provided genuine results. The hoodia gordonii plant is native to the South Africa deserts.
The very first study of hoodia was not what most people would consider a clinical study. Most would agree the miraculous substance known as P57 was discovered purely by accident. In fact, the secrets of the hoodia gordonii plant were handed down from one generation to another.
The secrets they shared had nothing to do with weight loss it was an issue of survival. “The tribesmen of South Africa would take part of the cactus plant and use it for food when they went on hunting trips.” It prevented them from starving and becoming dehydrated. Centuries ago, people had no need to try to lose weight they lived off the land and eat healthy food. Exercise was a daily part of their lives.
The first clinical study done in a lab was done on rats the scientist injected the molecule P57 into their brain and the results as one would expect was weight loss. After the scientists were satisfied with their conclusions, it was decided that a human trail was next.
The human study was conducted by the British company Phytopharm. Fifteen obese women and men where housed together and only allowed to read, watch TV and eat (as sedentary of a lifestyle as one can have.) This specific group with the consumption of Hoodia Gordonii has shown remarkable calorie consumption decline by almost 1000 calories within a span of 15 days. Phytopharm concluded that this clinical trail was successful and Hoodia Gordonii could in fact be used as a weight loss supplement.
As a result of that conclusion, the Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills were conceived. Before the Hoodia Gordonii diet pills was made public a few chosen people were offered the opportunity to try the supplement. One such person was Leslie Stahl from CBS News 60 Minutes. While allowing a reputable member of the media to sample their product the company in return gained a great deal of media attention and free advertising.
This is what Leslie had to offer the public about the Hoodia Gordonii diet pills.
“So how did it work? Stahl says she had no after effects - no funny taste in her mouth, no queasy stomach, and no racing heart. She also was not hungry all day, even when she would normally have a pang around mealtime. Moreover, she also had no desire to eat or drink the entire day. "I'd have to say it did work," says Stahl.” - Leslie Stahl reporting on CBS News 60 Minutes
